# Wishful

> Wishful is a wishlist app. Paste a link from almost any shop and the item is cut out like a sticker, with its name, price and details filled in. Keep every wish in one basket, share lists with a link, and let friends reserve gifts in secret, so nobody buys the same thing twice.

Wishful runs in the browser at https://mywishful.app/app and can be added to the home screen on iPhone and Android. Prices are in euros and include VAT where it applies.

## Features
- **Priorities** (free): Dream ●●●, really want ●●○, nice to have ●○○. Everyone sees what matters most.
- **Sizes, once** (free): Set your sizes and likes once. Every matching wish shows them, so friends get it right.
- **Share your way** (Premium): One list or everything, with a note. Choose what friends see — they open it in any browser, no app needed.
- **Secret reserve** (Premium): Friends reserve a gift and everyone else sees “reserved”. You never find out who. No doubles, no spoilers.
- **Sticker style** (free): Every wish is cut out like a sticker. Pick a border, tidy the edges with the refine brush, and dress each list in its own colour or pattern.
- **Price drops** (free): Wishful re-checks your saved shop links once a day and tells you when a wish gets cheaper.
- **Gift helper** (Premium): Describe someone — style, what they love, your budget — and get gift ideas that fit them, each with a reason.
- **Where to buy it** (Premium): Shops near you that sell it, the best online prices in your country, and similar finds — all inside the app.

## How it works
1. Paste a link from almost any shop.
2. Wishful removes the background so the item looks like a sticker, and fills in name, price, colour and category.
3. Share the list with a link. Friends open it in any browser and reserve gifts in secret; the list owner never sees who reserved what.

- Premium (€1.99 a month, or €9.99 a year ≈ €0.83 a month): Share any list with a link; Reserve gifts on friends’ lists in secret; Every gift you’re giving, tracked privately; Gift helper and where to buy it — 20 a month.
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record). Refunds within 14 days of the first payment or a yearly renewal.

## Questions
- **Do I need to download anything?** No. Open mywishful.app/app in your phone’s browser and add it to your home screen (on iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen). It then opens like an app and keeps working offline.
- **Is Wishful free?** Yes. The free plan has unlimited wishes and lists, the automatic cut-out, sizes, priorities, sticker styles and price-drop checks. Premium (€1.99 a month or €9.99 a year) adds sharing, secret reservations, a private gift tracker, the gift helper and “where to buy it”.
- **Which shops does it work with?** Most online shops. Some big shops block apps from reading their pages. For those, Wishful keeps the link and the name and asks you for a photo or a screenshot instead.
- **Do my friends need Wishful to see my list?** No. Anyone with your link can view your shared list in their browser. To reserve a gift in secret they sign in, and reserving is part of Premium.
- **Will the person know what I reserved?** No. They never see who reserved what. Other friends just see the gift as taken, so nobody buys it twice.
- **How do price-drop alerts work?** When you open Wishful, it quietly re-checks the shop links of a few saved wishes, each at most once a day. If a price has fallen, the wish shows the old price crossed out and how much it dropped, and you get a note in the app. You can turn this off in Me → Gifting.
- **How does the gift helper work?** You describe the person — style, what they love, what to avoid — and your budget. An AI model suggests specific ideas that fit, each with a reason and a price range. It shares 20 searches a month with “where to buy it”; the count resets on the 1st.
- **What is “where to buy it”?** From any wish, Wishful searches for shops near you that sell it, the best online prices in your country and similar finds, and shows them right in the app.
- **What does Premium cost?** €1.99 a month, or €9.99 a year (about €0.83 a month). Prices include VAT where it applies.
- **How do I cancel Premium?** Any time, from the link in your Paddle receipt email. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
- **Can I get a refund?** Yes, within 14 days of your first payment or of a yearly renewal. See the refund policy.
- **Where is my data stored?** On the free plan, your wishes stay on your own device. Accounts and shared lists are stored with our database provider in the EU (Frankfurt). See the privacy policy.
- **How do I delete my account?** Email chercheuse.du.feu@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll delete your account and data within 30 days.
